ALBANY — The Albany Police Department has issued warrants for the arrest of 46-year-old Steve Bernard Wright in a case that involved an attack of a 67-year-old woman.

According to reports, officers responded to a domestic dispute call on the 1500 block of Second Avenue Tuesday evening around 9:35. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, a 67-year-old female, who had torn cloths as well as bruising and swelling to her face.

Reports indicate that the victim, a relative of Wright’s, had gone into his room and asked him to get up when he attacked her.

According to the victim, Wright threw her to the ground and kicked her several times in the face as she tried to crawl away. When the victim called police, Wright fled the scene, according to reports.

Wright is 5-foot-4, weighs 135 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.
