ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least nine calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Aggravated sexual battery on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 1600 block of Owens Avenue;
— Hit and run on the 1900 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1000 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Odom Avenue, the 1200 block of Parker Avenue and the 2000 block of Dawson Road;
— DUI on the 200 block of North Mock Road;
— Possession of a controlled substance on the 2000 block of Pearl Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 14 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Auto accident on the 3000 block of Clark Avenue;
— Suspicious auto on the 5800 block of Gillionville Road, the 2800 block of Winifred Road, the 2900 block of Dove Avenue, the 700 block of Philema Road and the 2600 block of Cordele Road;
— Injured animal on the 900 block of Holly Drive;
— Traffic stop on the 100 block of South Mock Road and the intersection of Howard Drive and Newton Road;
— Personal welfare check on the 2800 block of Spelman Drive;
— 911 hang up on the 4700 block of Clewiston Lane;
— Hold up alarm on the 5100 block of Barrington Drive;
— Inhumane treatment of animals on the 400 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Burglar alarm on the 4900 block of Old Dawson Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Alarm activation on the 2300 block of Lake Park Drive;
— Unauthorized burning on the 2400 block of Bettys Drive;
— Auto accident on the 2400 block of Gillionville Road;
— EMS assist on the 5400 block of Dyson Court and the 100 block of Morningside Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 68 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included seven respiratory issue calls, five chest pain calls, four diabetic issue calls, four miscellaneous pain calls, three altered mental state calls, three mental health calls, two seizure calls, two labor issue calls, two cardiac arrest calls and 23 various medical calls. Trauma calls included eight auto accident victim calls and five falls.
