Albany, Dougherty County Police/Fire/EMS reports — April 4-5

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 18 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of 16th Avenue, the 300 block of Moultrie Road, the 400 block of Cannon Avenue and the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 300 block of Cordele Road;

— Burglaries on the 1100 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 900 block of West Mercer Avenue;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 2700 block of Gillionville Road;

— Child in need of services on the 200 block of Edward Drive;

— Rape on the 200 block of North Mock Road;

— Arson on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;

— Theft by receiving on the 1500 block of Palmyra Road;

— Thefts by taking on the 100 block of Force Drive, the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 500 block of Cherry Avenue and the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road;

— Battery on the 1900 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Injured person on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least seven calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accident on the 3000 block of East Park Court;

— Family violence on the 1900 block of South County Line Road and the 3700 block of Plumcrest Avenue;

— Contact person on the 3200 block of War Eagle Drive;

— Suspicious autos on the 2500 block of Calvary Road and the 3500 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Burglar alarm on the 4400 block of Nichols Street.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Power lines down on the 1200 block of Colquitt Avenue and the 1100 block of Clark Avenue;

— EMS assists on the 300 block of North Jefferson Street, the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 400 block of West Society Avenue, the 1900 block of Churchill Drive and the 3200 block of War Eagle Drive;

— Building fire on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Outside rubbish fire on the 1100 block of Avalon Avenue;

— Auto accident on the 3900 block of Rodner Forest Lane;

— Lightning strike on the 800 block of West First Avenue.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 57 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included 13 respiratory issue calls, five chest pain calls, four altered mental state calls, three stroke victim calls, three cardiac arrest calls, two seizure calls, two mental health calls, one diabetic issue call, one miscellaneous pain call and 16 various medical calls. Trauma calls included two auto accident victims, two assaults and one fall. Other types of calls included one assist of the Albany Fire Department and one medical alert assistance call.
