Lee Chamber seeks banquet nominees
Annual event recognizes leaders in community

LEESBURG — The Lee County Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominees for recognition at its 29th annual Chamber Banquet, which is planned for the Bindery at Oakland Library Nov. 9.
Nominees are being sought in seven categories: Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Partner in Agriculture, Partner in Education, Ambassador of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement Award.
Chamber members are encouraged to fill out nomination forms (available at the chamber office) for candidates in each category by Sept. 30.
Nominees must meet certain specific criteria criteria:
— Person/business must live/serve in Lee County;
— Include accomplishments and contributions for the past five years;
— May not be an elected official;
— May not be a board member of the Lee Chamber of Commerce;
— Cannot be deceased (except for Lifetime Achievement Award).
