Tift business woman nominations sought
The winner is to be announced at Feb. 1

TIFTON — Friday is the deadline for Prince Business Woman of the Year nominations in Tifton and Tift County.
The winner is to be announced at Feb. 1 at the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting and banquet.
The nomination period opened Nov. 3 for the program, which is designed to recognize “the accomplishments of an outstanding business woman who has demonstrated excellence in her profession while dedicating her time and talents to the community.”
The nomination form asks for a brief description of the nominee’s business or job; involvement in civic, chamber, charitable, business or professional organizations; major professional accomplishments, including awards, projects and achievements; community accomplishments, including awards, projects and religious, community and charitable activities; reasons why the nominee should be considered a role model, and any other relevant information.
To be eligible, the business woman must be nominated by a chamber member and be a resident of Tift County or have a business located in Tift County.
The chamber program is sponsored by Prince Automotive Group.
