PHOTOS: Southwest Georgia murals inspire growth and pride in communities

Murals in the southwest Georgia towns and cities of Colquitt, Cuthbert, Dawson, Shellman, Americus and Albany spark civic pride and can be a catalyst for growth and tourism in downtowns. Many of the murals showcase city attempts to revitalize historic districts and capture community history.
