ALBANY — For 25 years, Michelle oaks has been bringing the world of dance to southwest Georgians. She’ll continue that quest starting March 25 when she introduces local patrons to the world of Rhumba.

Lovers of dance are invited to immerse themselves in the world of Rhumba on Monday nights through April 29 under the guidance of Oaks. Interested persons can enroll in her enticing six-week class now.

The classes which start at 6:30 p.m., will continue on consecutive Monday nights through April 29 at the Arts Council’s 215 N. Jackson St. location.

Cost is $140 per couple.

The exotic Rhumba is the perfect choice for dance lovers, Oaks said, because:

— It ignites passion and intimacy with a dance partner;

— It enhances confidence and grace on the dance floor;

— It allows participants to immerse themselves in the vibrant Latin rhythm of Rhumba.

Anyone who’s ever wanted to sizzle on the dance floor can learn to do so by taking part in the classes. Save a spot in the Rhumba class via email at [email protected] or by phone at (229) 439-2787.
