ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Theft by shoplifting on the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Disorderly conduct on the 500 block of Poplar Street and the 2000 block of Keystone Avenue;

— Aggravated assaults on the 900 block of Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 800 block of Ninth Avenue;

— Forgery on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Simple battery on the 2600 block of Flynn Court, the 900 block of West Lincoln Avenue and the 2000 block of Keystone Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Drexel Street, the 600 block of Willis Drive, the 300 block of South Mock Road and the 700 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

— Missing persons on the 1600 block of Jean Avenue and the 600 block of Johnson Road;

— Robbery by force on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Pedestrian under the influence on the 2000 block of Leonard Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least three calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accident on the 3000 block of Clark Avenue;

— Traffic arrest on the corner of Nelms Road and Gravel Hill Road;

— Harassing phone calls on the 1400 block of Pippin Lane.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Motor vehicle accident on the corner of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and Cason Street;

— Animal rescues on the 1800 block of Keystone Avenue and the 2600 block of Great Oak Street;

— Building fires on the 500 block of Deer Court and the 1900 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Outside rubbish or trash fire on the 500 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— EMS assist on the 1300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 67 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included three chest pain calls, one back pain call, two unknown calls, 10 respiratory issues calls, 19 general sickness calls, two fainting calls, four stroke calls, one diabetic call, four seizure calls, one abnormal behavior call and three cardiac arrest/death calls. Trauma calls included five auto accidents, six falls, one laceration and four assaults. Other types of calls included one stand-by for APD.
