ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 30 calls on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:
— Missing person on the 600 block of Kingsbury Lane;
— Hit and run, striking fixtures, on the 900 block of West Third Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2000 block of Schilling Avenue and the 800 block of West Lincoln Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, the 1400 block of Pinecrest Drive, the 1300 block of North Washington Street and the 600 block of Kingsbury Lane;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Second-degree criminal damage to property on the 1400 block of Owens Avenue;
— First-degree forgery on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— First-degree burglary on the 400 block of South Cleveland Street and the 1000 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Aggravated assault with a firearm on the 600 block of Marshall Lane and the 200 block of Bonny View Court;
— Simple battery on the 200 block of Monarch Drive, the 2400 block of Hilltop Drive and the 500 block of Vintage Road;
— Interfering with city officers on the 700 block of Canal Street;
— Child in need of services, unruly, on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue and the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
— Pedestrian under the influence on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 1400 block of Radium Springs Road, the 1100 block of East Society Road, the 1900 block of South Madison Street, the 1700 block of Fir Lane and the 100 block of Garden Hill Drive;
— Battery, family violence on the 800 block of Corn Avenue;
— Aggravated sodomy on the 200 block of Pine Avenue;
— Sodomy on the 400 block of West Third Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:
— Entering auto on the 300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Theft by taking on the 2100 block of Habersham Road and the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Disorderly conduct with injury on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Traffic accident at the intersection of Leary Road and Newton Road;
— Illegal dumping on the 1200 block of McKenzie Road;
— Family violence on the 800 block of Community Avenue;
— Lost or mislaid property at the intersection of Madison Street and Odom Avenue;
— Animal at large at the intersection of Sylvester Road and Clark Road;
— Poison ingestion on the 2900 block of Thrasher Road;
— Auto accident at the intersection of Cordele Road and Doles Road;
— Assistance to a motorist at the intersection of South Mock Road and Power Lane;
— Civil issue on the 3500 block of Sylvester Highway.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:
— Animal rescue on the 3100 block of Graystone Lane;
— Unauthorized burnings on the 500 block of Cochran Avenue and the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Passenger vehicle fire on the 500 block of North Haley Street;
— Medical assistance on the 2500 block of Doncaster Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 69 calls on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate.
The medical incidents included three chest pains, eight respiratory issues, 20 general sicknesses, one abdominal pain, one allergic reaction, one back pain, two faintings, one altered mental status, three OB calls, three seizures, one abnormal behavior, three cardiac arrests and one other medical call. The trauma incidents included two overdoses, four auto accidents, seven falls, one fire and one traumatic injury. Other calls included one transport, one out-of-town transport and two medical alert activations.
