OK, huge question to Albany Museum of Arts: Was there no insurance coverage for damage received by 2017 tornado or 2018 Hurricane Michael? Severely damaged should have been severely insured.
What a wonderful, informative story about Albany State President Marion Fedrick. Everything I’ve heard about her so far has been positive. Good luck, madam president.
Thanks to Charlotte at the Shoe Box for always being so helpful.
Mediacom: Do something about no audio on Channel 7. It’s been out for over a month.
To that racist man or woman who’s squawking about taking away money from the Albany Civil Rights Museum. Well, when you take that money away, let’s take the money away from the Albany Museum of Art. Fair is fair.
Taxpayers: Our school superintendent has spent $16 million for a gymnasium and apparently for his favorite school, Monroe High. We must meet and consider legal action to stop this excessive spending.
Loved, loved, loved the story about the Powells’ Clydesdales. What an exceptional thing they do for their community every year.
I wish that I could be an NFL slave and make $18 million a year like the ones LaBron James is talking about.
This is an update for Mediacom customers: Fort those who don’t have sound on Channel 7, you have to have them come out and install a newer cable box. I don’t know why they’re not sharing this.
If something is wet, how can it be wetter?
The picture in Tuesday’s paper was fake news. You going to believe God’s word or man’s?
I think the shelter’s catch-and-release program for cats is a wonderful idea. Could we do that for some of the young men in Albany?
Carlton, you said in your editorial that Lee County is 85 percent Trump. Can you tell me what Dougherty County is?
The utility department in Albany has gone slap crazy. I had my heating unit go out for a week and a half, and my bill was $120 more. Somebody explain that.
I know the Squawkbox is a place where people can air their gripes anonymously, but I sure hope some of them will find something new to gripe about as we head into the new year.
The insurance industry owns the insurance commissioner’s office in the state of Georgia. That’s why elected officials should have to get insurance of their own so that they’ll stay in contact with the people they’re supposed to represent.
Squawkers, give the Civil Rights Museum a rest. All over this country for years we’ve had Civil War soldiers honored at taxpayer expense. Let’s give that a rest.
Great article about Marion Fedrick of Albany State in today’s Albany Herald. Very inspiring. And also, Kathleen Parker is in today’s paper; that makes a very great paper day.
A hot Russian spy has infiltrated the NRA. Hide your gun.
Come on Chrysler. Bring back the slant-6 and put it in a four-door Challenger and I’ll buy one, I promise.
Our current Dawson city manager who’s not there any more owed me for two bills. Wonder if I’m going to collect.
