ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 26 incidents on Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Thefts by taking on the 300 block of Clark Avenue, the 1400 block of Avalon Avenue and the 1300 block of East Roosevelt Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Watkins Avenue and the 900 block of North Van Buren Street;

— Simple battery, family violence, on the 1900 block of Sunridge Drive and the 2500 block of Elton Street;

— Child in need of services on the 1200 block of Avalon Avenue;

— Interfering with city officers on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— First-degree burglary on the 1500 block of Gillespie Avenue;

— Rape on Sharon Avenue;

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Second-degree criminal damage to property on the 1100 block of Society Avenue;

— Suspended/revoked license on the 200 block of Cason Street;

— Motor vehicle theft on the 3000 block of West Pointe Court;

— Battery, family violence, on the 900 block of South Davis Street;

— Aggravated assaults, family violence, on the 500 block of Swift Street and the 1100 block of University Street;

— Aggravated assaults on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 200 block of West Society Avenue;

— Entering autos on the 900 block of Cherry Avenue, the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 1100 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;

— Suicide/suicide attempt on the 1600 block of Beverly Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 29 incidents on Thursday and early Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accidents on the 400 block of Philema Road and the intersection of Gillionville Road and Beattie Road;

— Animals running at large on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road and the 1500 block of Hancock Road;

— Suspicious autos on the 7100 block of Newton Road, the 3000 block of Sylvester Road, the 1900 block of the Liberty Expressway and the 5500 block of Newton Road;

— Burglar alarms on the 6800 block of Hardup Road, the 2500 block of College Park Lane and the 2200 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;

— Theft by extortion on the 6000 block of Elliott Drive;

— Contact person on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Loud music on the first block of Luke Drive;

— Abandoned auto at the intersection of South County Line Road and Acree Avenue;

— Personal welfare check on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Attempt to contact on the 3600 block of Plumcrest Avenue;

— Suspicious persons on the 1800 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast and the 2700 block of the Liberty Expressway;

— Assistance to a motorists on the 2300 block of Clark Avenue and the 700 block of Cordele Road;

— Welfare check on the 600 block of Cordele Road;

— Assistance to another agency on the 1000 block of Butternut Avenue;

— Property damage on the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway;

— Speeding auto on the 4000 block of Sylvester Road;

— Abandoned auto on the 3700 block of Sylvester Road;

— Recovered vehicle on the 1400 block of the Liberty Expressway.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 12 calls on Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Emergency medical assistance on the 3000 block of Westgate Drive and the intersection of North Westover Boulevard and Old Dawson Road;

— Motor vehicle accident at the intersection of North Slappey Boulevard and West Third Avenue and the intersection of Gillionville Road and Beattie Road;

— Municipal alarm system on the 300 block of Pine Avenue;

— Passenger vehicle fire at the intersection of Leonard Avenue and North Mock Road;

— Brush fire on the the 3400 block of Staton Drive;

— Authorized controlled burn on the 1600 block of Gaissert Road and the 3500 block of Spring Flats Road;

— Rail vehicle fire on the 1000 block of Netherland Lane.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Reports from Dougherty County Emergency Medical Services were not immediately available on Friday.
