LETTER TO THE EDITOR: State Bar congratulates new Dougherty County Attorney Alex Shalishali

To the Editor:

The State Bar of Georgia congratulates Alex M. Shalishali of Page Scrantom Sprouse Tucker & Ford P.C., in Columbus on his appointment by the Dougherty County Commission to serve as county attorney.

Shalishali will be well-served in his new position by his 10 years of experience in the legal profession, including his representation of local governmental entities and law enforcement agencies. He is also an assistant magistrate judge in Muscogee County and is a valued member of the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia.

Through his acceptance of this appointment, Shalishali demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this new position of local governmental leadership.
