ALBANY — No serious injuries were reported by Albany police after the driver of a Dodge Ram pickup collided with a Chevy Silverado on the Liberty Expressway, causing both cars to flip several times.

Albany police closed single lanes of eastbound and westbound traffic on the expressway Wednesday evening when the driver of a red Dodge Ram exited the Jefferson Street to Liberty Expressway onramp heading westbound. The driver, police said, went around vehicles in the same path of travel. As he entered the expressway, he collided with a gray Chevy Silverado, causing both vehicles to flip multiple times.

No serious injuries were reported by responding officers. No information about the names of the victims or charges, if any, that were filed was reported by APD.
