Apple cranberry galette may sound fancy but it’s an easy fall dessert. The seasonings Teresa chose are perfectly balanced and enhance the natural flavors of the fruit. The beauty of a galette is that it doesn’t have to be perfect. Basically, it’s a free-form pie. We used a pre-made pie crust and this was super easy to prepare. A great fall dessert recipe if you aren’t a pie expert but want all the flavors of a pie.
Ingredients
- 4 apples, peeled and cored (I use whatever kind I have on hand)
- 1/4 c butter
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/3 c brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 c fresh cranberries
