When: Saturday, starts at 8:30:Where: Chehaw Park & Zoo.The Cancer Ties 5k, Fun Run and Beer Relay will bring a day of activities, with proceeds going to benefit four area cancer patients.After the runners finish up, festivities start at 10 a.m. at the Chehaw stage, with arts and crafts and food vendors, kid’s activities, a cornhole tournament and beer relay.Live music includes William Massey at 11 a.m., the Dirt Road Sports at 1 p.m. and the ninety5 band at 4 p.m.Admission: $25 for adults, $5 for ages 6 to 17 and free for ages 5 and under.
When: Saturday, starts at 6:30 p.m.Where: Albany Municipal Auditorium.The Albany Symphony Orchestra presents A Scottish Outing with renowned vilolinist, Ariel Horowitz, and bagpipist, Dan Gillan with an experience of the music of the Isles and Highlands of Scotland.Admission: $25, $22 for seniors and $16 for military and students. Children 6 and under free.
