Spring is still in full force in southwest Georgia, so that means more temperate weather to get outdoors or roll down the windows while on the way to some of the indoor action going on this weekend.

UPDATE: EVENT CANCELED When: Friday, starts at 6 p.m.Where: Radium Springs Gardens, 2501 Radium Springs Gardens.The Sips For Skywater will feature music, food and entertainment at historic Radium Springs. The special event will benefit the Flint RiverQuarium.Summer casual attire.Tickets: $50 per person or $75 per couple and can be purchased at artesianalliance.org/events, the Flint RiverQuarium, or at the event.

When: Saturday, 5k starts at 9 a.m., fun run at 9:15 a.m. Other activities continue until noon, with an awards ceremony at 10:15 a.m.Where: Radium Springs Trail System, 310 Skywater Blvd.The city of Albany and Dougherty County are teaming up for the first Freedom in the lead up to Juneteenth celebrations. All ages are welcome to participate. Food trucks and vendors will be on hand.Entry fee: Free.
