When: Saturday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.Where: Downtown Plains.The annual Peanut Festival celebrates Georgia’s most famous agricultural crop. The festival kicks off with a 1-mile fun run and a 5k road race. People line the sidewalks of Plains each year to watch the unique entries in the parade downtown. Visitors enjoy the all-day event and educational exhibits are on display to accent the importance of agriculture in this region.

When: Saturday, 4 p.m.-6 p.m.Where: Sunbelt Ag Expo grounds, Moultrie.The Moultrie Junior Woman’s Cluob is presenting a festival featuring games, food trucks and music by Happy Harmonies Music Studio. The event is family friendly.Admission: $10 for adults, $5 for children. No charge for kids 3 and younger.

When: Saturday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.Where: Flint RiverQuarium, 117 Pine Ave.Experience venemous snakes, birds of prey, butterflies and native plants at this annual celebration of all creatures great and small.
