DAWSON — The Terrell County Chamber of Commerce is continuing its efforts to strengthen local business relationships through community celebrations and networking opportunities, recently recognizing two new businesses with ribbon-cutting ceremonies and announcing its next “Coffee & Connections” event in Sasser.
The chamber recently welcomed Dental Partners of Dawson, located at 267 Stonewall St., with a ribbon-cutting honoring the practice’s investment in the community.
Led by Drs. Jake Holtzclaw and Rick McNeely, Dental Partners of Dawson provides dental services to residents throughout Terrell County and surrounding communities. Chamber officials said the practice is committed to delivering quality care while building lasting relationships with patients and families.
“We are grateful for their investment in Terrell County and the important role they play in supporting the health and well-being of our residents,” the chamber said in a statement.
Dental Partners of Dawson can be reached at (229) 995-5858.
The chamber also celebrated the opening of 82 Brew, a locally owned coffee shop at 815 Forrester Drive SE in Dawson.

The business offers coffee, teas, smoothies, breakfast items, lunch and rotating weekly specials. Chamber officials described the business as a welcoming gathering place for both residents and visitors.
Supporting local businesses such as 82 Brew helps strengthen the local economy by creating opportunities for growth and keeping investment circulating within the community, according to the chamber.
“We encourage everyone to stop by, try something new and join us in supporting the small businesses that make our community unique,” the chamber said.
The chamber’s next networking opportunity, Coffee & Connections, is scheduled for July 21, from 7:30-9 a.m. at Ali’s Gifts & Things, 113 W. Main St. in Sasser.
Sponsored by Gentiva Hospice, the informal event is designed to give business owners, community leaders and residents an opportunity to network, build relationships and share ideas in a relaxed setting. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards and drop in at any time during the event.
Established in 1947, the Terrell County Chamber of Commerce serves the communities of Dawson, Bronwood, Sasser and Parrott. Located in historic downtown Dawson at the corner of Lee Street and Roundtree Drive, the member-driven organization works alongside local governments, regional partners and businesses to promote economic development and improve quality of life across southwest Georgia.
The member-driven organization said its mission centers on promoting business growth, advocating for local interests and strengthening community partnerships across Terrell County. Chamber leaders encouraged residents and business owners to become involved, noting that membership provides networking opportunities, increased visibility and a voice in the county’s future development.
