Wild Adventures adds 15th concert to series that starts Saturday

VALDOSTA – Wild Adventures Theme Park has added a 15th performance to its concert season, which kicks off Saturday.

At 8 p.m. Saturday, Skid Row will launch the 2016 season with the park’s Passholder Appreciation Concert.

Added to the previously announced 14 concerts is one scheduled June 11 by pop music sensation Hailee Steinfeld, a 19-year-old performer whose career exploded last year with the release of her female empowerment pop anthem, “Love Myself.”

Steinfeld recently released her newest single, “Rock Bottom,” featuring DNCE. Her list of friends and music collaborators include popular music icons like Taylor Swift and Shawn Mendes.

Steinfeld also is known for her starring role as Emily in the musical comedy “Pitch Perfect 2.” She was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in “True Grit” when she was 14 years old.

In addition to Steinfeld and Skid Row, the season lineup includes Montgomery Gentry, April 9; Jacob Whitesides, April 16; TobyMac & Hollyn, April 23; Cheap Trick, April 30; Kelsea Ballerini, May 7; Andy Mineo, Trip Lee, Tedashii and KB, May 14; MercyMe, June 25; Emerson Drive & Waterloo Revival, July 2; Tamela Mann, July 9; Martina McBride, July 23; Andy Grammer, July 30; Skillet, Aug. 6, and Colt Ford, Aug. 13.
