ALBANY — With fall and cooler weather now entrenched, some of southwest Georgia’s favorite fall activities — including one of the most popular events at the park, Boo at the Zoo — are scheduled at Chehaw Park and Zoo.

Events include:

BOO AT THE ZOO — Oct. 26, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Kids love the not-so-spooky Halloween event in the Zoo. The event is $15 for adults and $10 for children and includes Park & Zoo admission. The event is free for ages 0-3, and all members of Chehaw, the Flint RiverQuarium, or Thronateeska.

Kids can enjoy Halloween-themed fun, including games, activities, special Halloween animal enrichment, tons of fun prizes, candy, and more.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED — 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Community volunteers who love to see kids having a good time are asked to help run game and craft booths during Boo at the Zoo. Send emails to [email protected] for more information.
