City of Leesburg, Lee Chamber to present second ‘Burg Bash

LEESBURG — Preparations are under way for the second ‘Burg Bash, sponsored by the city of Leesburg and the Lee County Chamber of Commerce.

The Bash, scheduled for 2-10 p.m. on Oct. 14 at 288 Smithville Road, just north of Twin Oaks Elementary School, will include live music, vendors, arts and crafts, barbecue and pizza cooking contests, a bouncy house for the kids, fireworks and much more.

The one-two powerhouse musical punch during the ‘Burg Bash will feature the Bo Henry Band, who will play at 3 p.m., and the Kinchafoonee Cowboys, scheduled to take the stage at 7 p.m.

Sponsors are currently seeking vendors and sponsors for the event. Sponsorship levels include Platinum ($2,500), Gold ($1,500), Silver ($500) and Bronze ($250).
