LEESBURG — No rest for the weary … The Lee County Chamber of Commerce, coming off its recent STAR Student/STAR Teacher Breakfast, is now busy organizing its 17th annual Under the Oaks Arts Festival, which is planned for March 14 at the downtown Train Depot, located at the chamber offices at 106 Walnut Ave. North in Leesburg.

This year’s event will include an art show and sale, artist reception and Business After Hours. The Business After Hours and reception will begin at 5 p.m., and the awards ceremony will start at 6:30 p.m. The artist awards will be given to winners in Art and Photography categories.

“We are seeking sponsorships of $300,” Chamber officials said in a news release. “Your name/company name will be advertised in different areas from flyers, posters, table tents and programs. We are under a deadline for printing, so please let us know by Feb. 28” if you can help sponsor the festival.

Individuals/businesses interested in sponsoring the Under the Oaks festival are asked to contact the chamber at (229) 759-2422.
