ALBANY — Bonnie, an 8-month-old bird dog and Labrador mix, is looking for a new home after being turned in to the Albany Humane Society by her owners.

“They were moving and couldn’t take care of her any more,” an official with the AHS said.

After her owners moved from town, Bonnie has been waiting to be adopted. (Special photo)

Bonnie is described as “friendly,” and she “gets along with other dogs.”

“She’s very loving. A good dog,” AHS officials said. “She will make someone a good dog if there is plenty of room for exercise.”

To adopt Bonnie or any of the cats and dogs available for adoption, call the Albany Humane Society at (229) 888-7387 during business hours of 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays. Visit the Albany Humane Society website at www.albanyhumanesociety.com.
