Albany Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, an official auxiliary of the Air Force, meets at 7 p.m. Monday at Southwest Georgia Regional Airport. The squadron is recruiting volunteers. Cadet members, ages 12-18, fly, learn to lead, perform search and rescue, and get in shape. Cadets meet two hours weekly and one Saturday monthly, and have opportunities to attend leadership training, career academies and other activities during the summer.
