ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 16 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 1500 block of East Residence Avenue, the 2700 block of Dawson Road and the 600 block of Longbow Drive;
— Rape on the 1300 block of Westwood Drive;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 500 block of Swift Street;
— Aggravated assault on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Burglary on the 900 block of 7th Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 1900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— False imprisonment on the 500 block of 7th Avenue;
— Public indecency on the 2200 block of Gillionville Road;
— Theft by conversion on the 900 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of West Lincoln Avenue;
— Failure to obey traffic control device on the 100 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Criminal damage to property on the 1200 block of Gillespie Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of Cherry Avenue;
— Armed robbery on the 500 block of South McKinley Street;
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 25 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Theft by shoplifting on the 4800 block of Hill Road;
— Burglary on the 4900 block of Grandview Drive;
— Auto accident on the 500 block of Byron Plantation Road, the 100 block of Ramsey Road, the 5300 block of Doles Road, the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway and the intersection of Moultrie Road and South Mock Road;
— Loud music on the 2700 block of Newcastle Lane;
— Demented person on the 1500 block of South Mock Road;
— Animal running at large on the 2400 block of Cherry Laurel Lane;
— Criminal trespass on the 1600 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Child abuse on the 400 block of 3rd Avenue;
— Speeding auto on the 400 block of South County Line Road;
— Harassing phone calls on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Recovered property on the 300 block of Aristedes Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included public service, a motor vehicle accident with injuries, a carbon monoxide detector activation, a grass fire and unauthorized burning.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 62 various medical calls on Monday, available reports show. Incidents included six miscellaneous pain complaints, eight respiratory issues, one altered mental status call, two mental health issues, one seizures, two strokes, two faintings, one OB/labor issue, four diabetic calls and 30 various medical issues.
Trauma calls included five falls, and two auto accident victims.
