Christmas with Grandparents marks 17th year

ALBANY — Seniors in Albany got a special Christmas treat Monday as the Albany Recreation and Parks Department held its 17th annual Christmas with Grandparents at Robert Cross Middle School. Recreation Supervisor Tee Taylor said it was important to recognize the city’s grandparents for all they give back to the community. Albany Police Chief Michael Persley also spoke to the gathering, offering holiday safety tips.
