ATLANTA — Now that officials with Atlanta’s Music Midtown and Panama City Beach’s Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam festivals have announced which stars will be hitting their respective stages, area music fans can prepare for a September filled with some of music’s biggest acts and hottest up-and-comers.

In what has become an annual rite of summer, organizers of Atlanta’s annual Music Midtown festival announced the 2016 lineup for the two-day music extravaganza, which will be led by The Killers, Twenty-One Pilots, Beck and Deadmau5.

Joining those heavyweights on Sept. 17-18 in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park will be a diverse roster that includes The Lumineers, G-Easy, Collegrove (featuring Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz), Band of Horses, James Bay, Kesha, Big Boi, Chvrches, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Leon Bridges, DJ Mustard, DNCE, Melanie Martinez, Raury, Daya, St. Lucia, Mayer Hawthorne, Lucius, Corinne Bailey Rae, Pete Yorn, Zella Day, Peter Bjorn and John, Joseph, NF, The Coathangers, Balkan Beat Box and The Shadowboxers

Tickets to the festival, which is now in its 18th year, are available at www.musicmidtown.com. Advance two-day general admission tickets are currently $125, with the price set to increase closer to the festival date. Two-day VIP tickets — which include a dedicated entrance; VIP lounge access; preferred viewing areas; complimentary beer, food, wine and concessions; and access to private air-conditioned restrooms — are $600.

The festival is also offering two-day Super VIP tickets for $1,200, which include everything that comes with standard VIP tickets, plus access to an air-conditioned luxury lounge located at the Electric Ballroom stage, access to exclusive viewing areas at the Honda and Roxy stages, access to preferred parking and check-in at the W hotel, shuttle service to and from the W and the festival, access to an open bar, gourmet catered food, a Music Midtown T-shirt and poster, golf cart transportation between the Electric Ballroom and Honda stages, and more.

Things get rocking in a different way earlier in the month as thousands are expected to descend on Panama City Beach over the Labor Day Weekend to check out sets from some of country music’s biggest luminaries, including Brad Paisley, Jake Owen and Eric Church.

Stretched over three days, from Sept. 2-4, Gulf Coast Jam, which is now entering its fifth year, will feature performances from Brett Eldredge, The Band Perry, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Graner Smith, Sara Evans, Tyler Farr, A Thousand Horses, Charles Esten, Neal McCoy, Mark Chesnutt, Darryl Worley, Colt Ford, Dylan Scott, Craig Campbell, Kirstie Lovelady, Galfriday Band, Chris Cavanaugh and Them Dirty Roses.

Tickets to Gulf Coast Jam are currently on sale through www.gulfcoastjam.com. Three-day general admission tickers are currently $149, and will increase closer to the festival. VIP pit passes, which are $439, grant access to an exclusive area in front of the main stage, a private entrance and access to a preferred viewing area.

VIP pit golden circle passes, which grant access between the VIP pit and the stage, and access to a private entrance, are also on sale for $699. VIP side stage passes are available for $999 and grant access to the double-decker additions to the left and right of the stage, access to the VIP pit and VIP golden circle, as well as access to crossover walkway and VIP bathrooms. VIP side stage passes also include four drink coupons per day and hors d’oeuvres.

Gulf Coast Jam also features exclusive Skybox passes that include access to all VIP areas and VIP bathrooms, access to a full-service cocktail staff, six drink coupons per day and two VIP parking passes. Email [email protected] or call (334) 464-3030 to reserve Skybox passes.
