Observed no lid provided on trashcan in restroom; PIC will have a lid place on trashcan — New Violation. Observed missing coving along wall in restroom; PIC will inform owner to have coving repaired — New Violation.

Hilton Garden Inn Albany/Food Service, 101 S. Front St.
Score: 86, Grade: B
Violations: Observed TCS food (Sour Cream) not immediately discarded by manufacture date. PIC discarded the item — New Violation. Observed several food items in RIC not covered. PIC covered the food items; Corrected On-Site — New Violation. Observed no previous inspection posted for consumers to view — New Violation.

Moe’s Southwest Grill, 1016 N. Westover Blvd.
Score: 96, Grade: A
Violations: Observed wiping cloths stored between uses in a solution that was not at the minimum quaternary ammonia sanitizer concentration. Employee made fresh sanitizer at 100 PPM; Corrected On-Site — New Violation. Observed the absorbent material cardboard being used as a covering on the floor in the food prep area. PIC removed the cardboard; Corrected On-Site — New Violation.
Remarks: Plus or minus 3 degrees Fahrenheit allowed for thermometer accuracy; discussed utensil stacking; discussed hair restraints; reminded PIC that CFSM certification will expire soon.

Violations: Observed ready to eat limes that were not being used as an ingredient in a food that would be cooked, and they were being exposed to the food employees bare hands. Employee removed the limes; Corrected On-Site — New Violation. Observed utensils being washed in the mechanical ware washing machine, but the machine was not dispensing chlorine sanitizer. This must be corrected by March 3 — Repeat Violation; Correct By March 2.
Remarks: Plus or minus 3 degrees Fahrenheit allowed for thermometer accuracy; discussed food storage; discussed hair restraints; discussed wiping cloths; discussed avoiding bare hand contact with ready to eat foods and hand washing; discussed 3 compartment sink; discussed authorized personnel.

Violations: Observed ice cream scoop stored in standing room temperature water. Observed Styrofoam cup used as a scoop in the sugar container in the front counter — New Violation. Observed the light shield over the meat sink and the light shield over the three compartment sink broken with bulbs exposed. Observed a shirt hanging on the rack with clean dishes and not stored in a designated area — New Violation.

Pizza Quick, 305 W. Franklin St., Sylvester
Score: 90, Grade: A
Violations: Observed sugar scoop stored with handle in sugar. Observed plastic cup being used as scoop in mozzarella. Repeat Violation. Observed door seals of make table torn, soiled with old food and dead roaches — Repeat Violation. Observed excess equipment stored in back of restaurant that hinders cleaning and exterminating services and creates harborage for roaches — Repeat Violation. Observed dead roaches littering the floor under shelving and equipment and various other areas of the facility — Repeat Violation.
Remarks: Discussed storage of items in use. Still having pest control service come monthly. There are extremely less live roaches than the last visit. I did not observe any live roaches at the time of the inspection.
TERRELL

Cooper Carver Elementary School, 255 Greenwave Drive, Dawson
Score: 80, Grade: B
Violations: Raw shell eggs stored above apples in walk in cooler. PIC moved raw shell eggs to designated area; Corrected On-Site — New Violation. Hamburgers (127F, 123F, 127F) hot held below 135 degrees Fahrenheit. PIC reheated hamburgers to correct temperature for hot holding; Corrected On-Site — New Violation. Cooked green beans (47F, 46F after +12 hours) improperly cooled. EHS instructed PIC to discard beans — Repeat Violation; Correct by March 3.
Remarks: Items to address before next inspection; vomit policy; illness policy decision guide; date marking; rag bucket sanitizer concentration; dumpster lid; mold on milk cooler gaskets; food storage.
