Papa John’s Pizza, 1703 E.Oglethorpe Blvd.

Score: 98, Grade: A

Violation: Observed no cold water at the employee handwashing sink. PIC will have the water fixed at the sink. New Violation.

Cookie Shoppe, 115 N. Jackson St.

Score: 96, Grade: A

Violation: Observed the nozzles on the drink machine needed to be cleaned. Discussed the frequency of cleaning the nozzles. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Henry Campbell’s — The Steak House, 629 N. Westover Blvd. Suite E

Score: 93, Grade: A

Violations: Observed containers that were uncovered in one reach in cooler and one container of bacon bits located on a shelf. Discussed with CFSM and corrected by covering items with tinfoil. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Correct by Nov. 21. Observed wiping cloths for wiping counters and other equipment surfaces not stored in chemical sanitizer solution. Discussed with CFSM. Corrected on site by mixing chlorine sanitizing bucket at 100 ppm then placing clothes in it. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Correct by Nov. 21.

Ruby Tuesday, 2626 Dawson Road

Score: 96, Grade: A

Violation: Observed hand washing sink at bar area with sealed jug of lemonade placed in it. Discussed with CFSM. Corrected on site. CFSM to ensure hand sink remain clear. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Correct by Nov. 21.

Remarks: Discussed servicing of prep top cooler located closest to the fryer in the main kitchen.

Tropical Taste Restaurant, 231 E. Oglethorpe Blvd.

Score: 94, Grade: A

Violations: Observed goat being thawed on the counter. Discussed approved thawing methods with the PIC. New Violation. Observed cloths for wiping counters and other surfaces in the facility that were not being held in sanitizer solution during periods of non use. PIC removed the cloths. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Wendy’s No. 551, 1101 Dawson Road

Score: 96, Grade: A

Violations: Observed handwashing sink in back not provided with paper towels. PIC supplied paper towels to hand wash sink. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Score: 97, Grade: A

Violation: Observed cloths for wiping counters and other equipment surfaces that were not held between uses in chemical sanitizer solution. Discussed with CFSM then he placed the cloths in chlorine chemical sanitizer solution. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Correct by Nov. 22.

Hamburger (100 F), sweet potatoes (127 F) hot held below 135 degrees Fahrenheit. PIC discarded hamburger and reheated sweet potatoes. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
