DOUGHERTY

Oct. 16

Subway — Pilot Travel Center No. 260, 310 Cordele Road

Score: 100, Grade: A

Oct. 17

Dunkin Donuts, 311 W. Oglethorpe Blvd.

Score: 96, Grade: A

Violation: Observed a cup of water with no lid or straw on the prep table near the peppered eggs being prep and put in containers. PIC discarded the cup. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Subway – ASU East Campus, 504 College Drive

Score: 99, Grade: A

Violation: Observed refuse not stored in receptacles so that they are inaccessible to insects and insects. PIC will have the refuse placed in the dumpsters. New Violation.

Oct. 18

Jimmie’s Hot Dogs, 204 S. Jackson St.

Score: 99, Grade: A

Violations: Observed no lid on the trashcan in the employee’s restroom. PIC will replace the lid. New Violation.

Pizza Hut — ASU East Campus, 504 College Drive

Score: 90, Grade: A

Violations: No person in charge of establishment at time of inspection. There must be a designated PIC in charge for establishment when CFSM is not present. New Violation. Observed no vomiting/fecal cleanup procedure available at the facility. PIC was given a copy of the procedure. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Observed no lid on the trashcan in the women’s restroom. PIC will place a lid on the trashcan. Repeat Violation.

Oct. 19

Blackbeard’s, 2209 N. Slappey Blvd.

Score: 92, Grade: A

Violations: Observed fume hood needs cleaning; PIC will have fume hood cleaned Repeat Violation. Observed drink gaskets needs cleaning; PIC will have employee wash, rinse, and sanitize drink gaskets at end of day New Violation. Observed interior of ice machines needs cleaning; PIC will have ice machines clean at end of day New Violation. Observed no lid on trashcan in women employee restroom; PIC will have a trashcan with a lid place in women employee restroom New Violation. Observed floor tile needs repairing near ware-washing and in front of fryers. PIC will have tile repaired. Repeat Violation. Observed coving missing in areas; POC will have missing coving replaced. Repeat Violation. Observed ceiling tile needs cleaning or replace; PIC will have ceiling tile cleaned or replace. Repeat Violation.

Violation: Food employee failed to wash hands after handling raw animal foods (chicken tenders) and before regloving and handling ready to eat foods (cooked fried steak). EHS instructed PIC to deglove, wash hands and reglove before handling ready to eat foods. Corrected On-Site. Repeat Violation.

Remarks: Items to address before next inspection — Walk in cooler temps. Cooling procedures. Posting of inspection at drive-thru window.

Score: 94, Grade: A

Violation: No CFSM for establishment. EHS instructed PIC to register for CFSM class ASAP. Repeat Violation.

Remarks: Items to address before next inspection — Relocate fryer under vent hood. Residential equipment.
