How about Abraham Lincoln turning over in his grave because the GOP has devolved into the cult of Trump? What happened to the party of law and order? How can there be defense of the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic when the greatest threat to democracy is the party’s leading candidate?

Chicago is paying $1.5 million per day on temporary housing for illegals. Imagine what the permanent costs will be.

The political ramifications in our country will be the end of a great country. Our immigration policy is a disaster. Republicans made progress; Democrats reversed it. Now, because it’s politically convenient, Democrats want to curb immigration and Republicans are fighting it. Same battles exist facing the economy and energy independence.
