Go get ’em, Mike. I hope the judge tacks on a few million to your suit for the grief caused by these incompetent commissioners.
So … just how does a driver who negotiated a left-hand turn at excessive speed, overturn that vehicle incurring a total loss, hit another vehicle in the process, all caught on tape and not get a citation? Sure glad he was not doing 40 in a school zone on Saturday.
There was no evil in this country until the religious-right took over.
Can we take a lesson from the conviction of Jennifer Crumbley for purchasing a gun for her distributed teenager who conducted a mass shooting shortly after receiving the gift? The lesson: Do not give the power and the means to do grave harm to people who have shown that they are incapable of handling it.
Government strives to meet “needs” of people, citizen or not, by providing things for “free.” And, as “free” grows to meet this so called “need,” it feeds and builds on itself. Break the cycle.
Is this an indicator? After just two issues of the new Herald format, I’m going into sugar shock. Perhaps I’ll read the Mike McCoy article several more times to get my levels back in order. Nothing like a good dose of stupid to bring back the realities of life in the Good Life City.

How about a backhanded thanks to the Associated Press for labeling Toby Keith an “overt patriot.” Yes, Toby Keith was a great American and an outstanding patriot to be emulated by us all.
“Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway.” – John Wayne
Lying SMR, stop trying to rewrite history and cast Confederates as noblemen defending their homes. They were traitors who seceded from the Union, formed their own country and then killed people flying the American flag. Don’t act like the black men who fought for the traitors did so freely. Signed, Yours Truly
Advice to seniors: Do not get down on the floor to play with the grandkids unless you have a plan in place as to how you are going to get back up.
The best way to become enlightened is to argue with some of these squawkers. Just ask Carlton.
“God gave us Trump …” And you people who follow this buffoon call yourselves Christians? You shame the Lord’s name.
