Even T. Gamble stoops to writing about Taylor Swift, joining the crowd, I guess. Personally, I could have gone pretty much the rest of my life without reading another story about her. Way to hop on that bus, T.

Uh huh, Herald, we’ll see what you come up with on local news. More feel-good social “news” not needed; give news that matters to those of us “trapped” and still paying taxes … the bad and ugly.

Wisdom dictates not to strike within Iran’s borders. That’s an act of war. Iran has treaties with Russia, and Russia has treaties with China. WWIII might ensue. Reinstate the sanctions. It will cut off Iran’s money. No money, no terrorism.

“People’s Republic of China hackers are targeting our critical infrastructure: water treatment plants, electrical grid, oil and natural gas pipelines, transportation systems.” — FBI Director Wray

Whatever you do, Herald, don’t cut out T. Gamble’s writings. Always a must-read for me; love his way with targeted humor and sarcasm.

Crooks are not leaders; they are crooks. Why are Republicans so blind to this fact? Seems Republicans are raising their children to be future crooks. This is what happens when weak politicians follow an ex-president who throws a temper tantrum because he lost an election that was legal and proven in courts over 60 times to be legit.

Today’s article said the Herald is cutting from six to three papers per week. Is the price also cut in half?

I appreciate the guest column by Ben Baker on Trump’s legal status to run for president, vis a vis unproven Jan. 6 concerns. Raises valid points we just won’t get to see in the news. Thanks.

I keep seeing former ACLU lawyers being nominated for federal judgeships. One in Washington and one in Virginia recently were approved by a 51-49 vote in the senate. I have never been more embarrassed for Georgia the way our two senators vote for such people.

“To be honest, many Americans now are lazy and entitled.” Spot on, B.J. Fletcher. As Churchill said, “The best argument against democracy is a 5-minute conversation with the average voter.”

Does low-income housing mean government housing exclusively? If we said “affordable housing,” would that help? Perhaps we need to build more Doublegates, Hidden Oaks, Stonebridges, etc. Then all we have to do is find people to buy them. Tell us what your real issue is, or did you already do that in your subtext?

Told you 20 years ago to stop pandering to the left. The left doesn’t buy papers. Want to save your paper? End the Squawkbox and write objectively, centrist. You should’ve done this 20 years ago. Whatever your intent, you come across as hard left.

No, the white national anthem — and the black national anthem — are the “Star-Spangled Banner.”

Let’s go there. It seems that you MAGA RINOs are rearing your children to be cult members who worship Trump as their lord and savior. Who has bewitched you? Trump has never claimed to be a believer in anyone but himself. The Almighty God shares His glory with no one.
