♦ The black Mercedes (appeared to be new) was backing into a handicap parking space in front of Tony’s Gym when I arrived. A young lady exited and went inside the gym. There was no permit visible in front, so I walked around to the the back of the vehicle. It had a Lee County tag and no handicap emblem.

♦ SMRs, Trump has nothing in common with you. He disparages his MAGA supporters when you’re not looking. Like a high-maintenance girlfriend, you’re being played.

♦ Kenneth Smith was executed in Alabama. News media want to talk about how he shook violently, gasped for air, suffered, etc., when he was given the nitrogen gas. This piece of trash stabbed a mother to death in 1988 for $1,000. Why aren’t news media describing how that woman suffered while being butchered?

♦ Trump’s appeasement policies to Putin will lead us into WWIII. Nikki Haley makes more common sense than to give loyalty to Trump.

♦ The violent shifting of the tectonic plates of political unrest, global militarization, violent cultural divisiveness and economic collapse, the world can not long endure. The monsters’ demands remain unsatisfied until their bellies are full with the bloody flesh of humanity. Yet silent are the prayers and voices of reason.

♦ $88 million to E. Jean Carroll. Most reports say it’ll be $370 million in the New York fraud case. Add legal fees to that, and who knows the cost? Trump isn’t worried, though, as the MAGA idiots keep donating to pay his bills. Republicans, want to know what a fool looks like? Look at yourselves. Signed, Yours Truly

♦ Second-best bumper sticker I ever saw: Driving down in Orlando, Fla., area which has a bunch of slow-poke old retirees, and saw bumper sticker that read, “When I get old, I’m going to go up north and drive around real slow.”

♦ I keep hearing rumblings about changes at The Albany Herald. We love our paper … what’s up with the changes?

♦ There have been some overt and covert racist squawks in this space that caused me to shake my head. But the comment that the increases in illegal immigrants would take food out of the mouths of African American children is by far the scummiest comment I have seen. You win the Trump miscreant prize so far this year.

♦ The doctors you mentioned in your column, Carlton, are among the best ever in Albany. That’s the primary reason you are still here with us. Your tribute to them, especially Dr. Phillip Roberts, was touching and well-deserved.

♦ When are all these alleged changes that are going to “revive downtown” taking place? I’ve see nothing going on … just a lot of talk.

♦ The economy is going so good, Trump is jealous. He wants the economy to crash and you to lose the value of your 401K.

♦ A horrible loss of life on Gillionville. The sad reality is that our roads are unpoliced. Deadbeat Chargers and lowlifes with no mufflers recklessly speed race 24/7. They have nothing to fear. So, what is it going to take for you to act Bo, Lorenzo, Chad, Gloria, Jalen, and others? No more excuses.
