In Worth County we want to know why these deputies are always chasing someone up and down Highway 82. This is the second time the deputy driving the Tahoe has run people off the road chasing a vehicle. The sheriff really needs to do something about this before those deputies kill somebody.

Trump’s first-term tariffs bumped inflation, but if he has a second term he promises 10% tariff increases worldwide, which would raise consumer costs by the same amount.

Miss B.J. is right: It’s time for America to wake up. She forgot to explain the real source of our problems was electing right-wing “Christian” Republicans who are taking away women’s rights. Shame, shame.

Now Trump says he’s more popular than Taylor Swift. Really? Not a “Swiftie” because I’m not her target audience; and her “Eras” tour is very successful. It’s just sad when a 77-year old, has-been, reality TV star thinks he can compete with a young, talented, brilliant, singer/songwriter.

A state wants to reduce medical expenses for 500,000 people. That’s great, but many more people need relief from high credit card expenses and interest, which were made due to the two or three-year increases in food, housing, gas, and heating bills all from the unemployment and business’s losses. That would help.

Don’t forget, Nov. 5 is trash day, so make sure you kick the trash to the curb. Vote!

Republicans must be auditioning to be stand-up comedians. That’s the only explanation for why they accuse Democrats of being criminals. Compare indictments and convictions of the two parties. Republicans can’t talk about accomplishments because they have none. They and their followers are a joke. Signed, Yours Truly

Last month, the city of Albany changed out all power meters in our subdivision. When I received my utility bill after the change, it increased by $174. My wife owns a business and uses city of Albany power. Her utility bill went down $150. If the city has changed your meter, get ready to have an increase in your bill.

Democratic Squawker, if you think the country isn’t close to dire straits, then please see your family doctor immediately. You’ve lost your mind.

OK, Ludwig, you got me. Somewhere between the broken heart upon every entering of my beloved passed son’s room and dark closets open weeping of a father’s love ever yearning, never ending, your article was truly special and well-deserved to be read and appreciated. Well-done.

I would not think many people would pay much attention to Dip Gaines about his wanting low-income housing in Albany. You must remember when he won the election he said he was happy with the big turn-out of voters. If I remember correctly, that turn-out was 26%.

The teachers have dropped the ball in teaching our youth. And Miss B.J. is putting out misinformation in SOWEGA.
