VALDOSTA – Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta is offering free admission to residents of counties affected by Hurricane Michael during the park’s annual Days of Thanks in November.

“For several years now, we have provided free admission to Wild Adventures after Thanksgiving to service professionals, teachers and the military as a way for us to give back to those who give so much to our community,” Molly Deese, general manager of the park, said. “This year, we also want to give a few days of fun to our neighbors who were devastated by Hurricane Michael.”

Residents of Florida, Alabama and Georgia counties that have been declared disaster areas can receive free single-day admission to Wild Adventures Theme Park during Days of Thanks, Nov. 23-25, with proof of residency.

This offer includes those assisting with clean-up and restoration, including linemen and nonprofit volunteers deserving a break.

Wild Adventures is also supporting Second Harvest of South Georgia in its efforts to provide Hurricane Michael assistance. During Days of Thanks, guests can receive “Buy One, Get One Free” admission with a non-perishable food donation to Second Harvest.

Days of Thanks is also the chance for teachers, first responders, firefighters, law enforcement officers and active, retired and honorably discharged military personnel to visit Wild Adventures and enjoy free admission on the same days with proof of occupation or military service.

Pre-K children can visit Wild Adventures for free with the new Pre-K Free Kid’s Season Pass available to all children ages 3-5 years old. Parents interested in receiving a free season pass for their child can visit WildAdventures.com/Pre-K for more details and to register.
