ATLANTA – The Georgia Chamber of Commerce has announced the promotion of three team members who, chamber officials say, exemplify the values and principles of the Georgia Chamber Way.

As the chamber works to strengthen its mission of advocating for free enterprise, fostering economic resilience, and supporting the future of Georgia’s business community, these leaders will play essential roles in driving forward the agency’s agenda and strategic vision.

Effective immediately, Nancy Palmer has been promoted to senior vice president for public affairs. In her new role, Palmer will lead the Georgia Chamber’s lobbying and political operations, bringing her expertise and commitment to representing Georgia’s business interests across the state and beyond.

“Nancy’s track record of strategic advocacy and her commitment to free enterprise make her the ideal choice to lead our public affairs team during this pivotal time for the Georgia business community,” Chamber officials said in a news release.

Additionally, Daniela Perry will serve as the new executive director of the Georgia Chamber Foundation. Perry, currently the vice president of the Foundation, will take the helm in driving the chamber’s long-term economic strategic planning, coordinating major statewide initiatives, and reinforcing the organization’s commitment to Georgia’s continued economic prosperity.

“Under Daniela’s leadership, the Foundation will deepen its focus on transformative projects that support economic development, talent and work force preparedness, competitiveness and innovation, ensuring a strong economic future for all Georgians,” chamber officials said.

Tiffany Holmes, along with the Center for Rural Prosperity located in Tifton, will transition under the Georgia Chamber Foundation as she expands her role to become the deputy director of the Georgia Chamber Foundation. Holmes’ understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing rural Georgia will allow her to work closely with Perry and the Foundation team to address the needs of rural communities and enhance their economic potential.

“This alignment will allow us to strengthen our focus on regional prosperity as a core component of Georgia’s economic strategy,” Chamber CEO/President Chris Clark said. “Tiffany will also expand her role in supporting the Georgia Chamber Federation and our local chamber partners. Nancy, Daniela, and Tiffany represent the very best of the Georgia Chamber Way — advocating for free enterprise, stewarding our business community and economy, demonstrating servant leadership, and embodying corporate citizenship. Their dedication and commitment are invaluable as we work together to build a prosperous future for Georgia.”

Pedro Cherry, 2024 chair of the Georgia Chamber and President and CEO of Atlanta Gas Light and Chattanooga Gas said the moves will strengthen the chamber.

“At the Georgia Chamber, our strong corporate culture is built on shared values and a commitment to excellence,” Cherry said. “By investing in our people and advancing leaders from within, we not only strengthen our organization but also ensure that our team reflects the dedication and deep understanding that comes from years of experience. I am proud to see Nancy, Daniela and Tiffany step into these vital roles, where they will continue to shape a brighter future for Georgia.

“The Georgia Chamber remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering our state’s businesses, fostering economic growth, and ensuring that Georgia remains the premier place for enterprise, innovation, and opportunity. Join us in congratulating Nancy, Daniela, and Tiffany as they take on these critical leadership roles.”
