The Dougherty County School System honored outstanding teachers for the 2023-2024 school year at the annual Teacher of the Year banquet. Twenty-three teachers from each of the system’s schools were recognized. Katherine McRee, a first-grade teacher at Lake Park Elementary School, was named Teacher of the Year.
