The Southwest Georgia Regional Fair is closing out its six-day run this weekend, with rides, exhibits and activities galore. The Albany Humane Society is also throwing a bash for people and their pets and some Halloween-themed events also are on tap for this weekend.

When: Saturday, starts at noon.Where: Pretoria Fields Brewing, 120 Pine Ave.Get ready for a legendary Rocktoberfest in downtown Albany at Pretoria Fields Brewery presented by Pretoriafieldsradio.com. Follow Bands for any VIP meet and greets or photo ops. Performers will include: Scotty Austin, Seven Year Witch, The Other LA, Paralandra, Silversel, ManHämmer, ninety5 and Lizz Faith Music.Admission: $15 at the door or at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/rocktoberfest-3-tickets-999853006257.

When: Friday, starts at 5 pm.Where: RiverFront Park, 112 N. Front St.The Albany Recreation and Parks Department is hosting a night of music, games and a screening of “Wakanda Forever.”Admission: No cost.

When: Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.Where: Chehaw Park & Zoo, 105 Chehaw Park Road.Join the critters at Chehaw for a “not-so-spooky,” Halloween-themed day of fun. Wear a costume for a chance to win prizes. Lots of Halloween-themed games and activities and a special Halloween animal enrichment, fun prizes and candy. Evens is included with zoo admission.Admission: $15 for adults, $10 for children, also includes a Park and Zoo pass. Free for Chehaw, Flint RiverQuarium or Thronateestka Heritage Center members.
