The regionally famous “Licky Bear” enjoys his perpetual ice cream cone on the iconic Arctic Bear sign that drew people to Albany for years. The Arctic Bear restaurant, located at the corner of Slappey Drive and Oglethorpe Boulevard, is a historic part of southwest Georgia’s past.
