ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 42 incidents on Saturday, Sunday and the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 1500 block of Elva Street and on the 300 block of Lynn Lane;
— Marijuana possession on the 800 block of Odom Avenue and on 1200 block of North Monroe Street;
— Deceased person on the 800 block of Seedling Street;
— Public indecency (saggy pants) on the 100 block of South Front Street;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 2900 block of Sylvester Road and on the 900 block of Dorsett Avenue;
— Missing person on the 500 block of West Lincoln Avenue;
— Possession of a controlled substance on the 1200 block of Edgerly Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and on the 200 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Interfering with a city officer on the 400 block of North Davis Street;
— Pedestrians soliciting rides or business on the 2600 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft by taking on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
— Missing juvenile on the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle;
— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Unruly child on the 300 block of Williams Street;
— Stalking on the 800 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Selling/soliciting/delivering to vehicles on the street on the 2000 block of North Jefferson;
— Public indecency (urination) on the 1500 block of Clark Avenue;
— Larceny (shoplifting) on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Driving under the influence on the 1200 block of Gillionville Road;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 200 block of Telfair Avenue and on the 1400 block of Elva Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Slater King Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1800 block of South Madison Street;
— Driving without a valid license on the 600 block of West Highland Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 38 incidents on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Demented person on the 6900 block of Hardup Road;
— Suspicious person at the intersection of Newton Road and Lonesome Road and on the 1200 block of Lajuana Lane;
— Suspicious auto on the 1300 block of Lily Pond Road;
— Road blocked by a tree on the 100 block of Mud Creek Road and at intersection of Cordele Road and Doles Road;
— Theft by taking on the 3900 block of Vanderbilt Drive;
— Recovered property on the 700 block of Cordele Road;
— Speeding auto on the 300 block of Elizabeth Avenue;
— Traffic light out at the intersection of Fleming Road and South Mock Road;
— Family violence on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Loud music on the 3000 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Auto accident on the 600 block of Holly Drive;
— Abandoned auto on the 800 block of Cordele Road;
— Burglary (residential) on the 3900 block of Coakley Avenue;
— Injured person at the intersection of Antioch Road and Radium Springs Road and on the first block of Georgia Power Road;
— Injured animal at the intersection of South Mock Road and Cutts Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Assault on the 100 block of Fowler Drive;
— Traffic arrests during a road check at the intersection of Holly Drive and Tarasavage Lane.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 16 calls on Friday and Saturday, available reports show. The incidents included an unauthorized burning, motor vehicle accidents, building fires, EMS assistance, shorted electrical equipment, water leaks, the breakdown of a light ballast and a downed power line.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 56 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 48 medical calls, six trauma calls and two standby calls for the Albany Fire Department.
The medical calls included, but were not limited to, 10 respiratory issues, three diabetic issues, two chest pains, two altered mental statuses, two seizures, two miscellaneous pains, one stroke, one mental health call and one cardiac arrest. The trauma calls consisted of four falls, one laceration and one burn victim.
