This community and economic development initiative will focus on creating sustainable, asset-based data sets and projects that highlight the strengths and positives of communities beginning in Albany. Pay Day: June 14 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Historic Westville. Teach your kids the value of work and earning a paycheck. Each child will be given a savings passbook when they enter the village. They will also choose their profession, what type of wagon they have, and how many acres of land they own. Then they head out into the village and go to work. They will be able to try many different jobs, and as they complete them, their passbook will be stamped with their earnings. There will also be some stations where they can stop and play during their “work” day. Money used is as negotiable as Monopoly money.
