Former President Jimmy Carter is not scheduled to teach Sunday School this Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains. Carter’s next appearance at the church is planned on April 5. When Carter teaches Sunday School, the instruction begins at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary. The doors open at 8:30 a.m. and an orientation for visitors is conducted around 9 a.m.
EVENTS
Bible Way Baptist Church will host its Missionary Fun Day and GI party on Saturday. The event from 8:45 a.m. until noon is for members only. The program from noon until 3 p.m. is open to anyone. Games, activities and food will be featured. The church is located at 1200 E. Fourth Ave.
