Albany-Dougherty Police/Fire/EMS reports – April 26, 2014

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 36 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Burglary on the 500 block of Park Lane, the 300 block of South Jackson Street, the 300 block of Acorn Street, the 1900 block of Elkhorn Lane, the 400 block of Highland Avenue, the 3100 block of Crepe Myrtle Court and the 100 block of Thornton Drive;

— DUI on the 2400 block of Dawson Road and the 1500 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Lost or misplaced property on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Theft by taking on the 1900 block of Melrose Drive, the 200 block of Arbor Court, the 600 block of Aztec Lane, the 300 block of North Audubon Drive and the 800 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Criminal damage to property on the 400 block of Odom Avenue and the 1400 block of Mulberry Avenue;

— Battery on the 1200 block of West Waddell Avenue, the 2000 block of Jones Avenue, the 100 block of Talafax Road and the 600 block of West 2nd Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 700 block of Pine Avenue, the 2300 block of Palmyra Road, the 300 block of Grant Place, the 200 block of North Madison Street, the 700 block of West Broad Avenue and the 1000 block of 6th Avenue;

— Wanted person on the 200 block of Cone Street and the 2000 block of West Whitney Avenue;

— Forgery on the 1300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Deceased person on the 300 block of South Davis Street;

— Recovered property on the 600 block of North Cleveland Street;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the the 2100 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Theft by deception on the 300 block of South Mock Road;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2000 block of Schilling Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 24 incidents on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Traffic accident on the 5200 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Family violence on the 1200 block of River Point Drive and the 3700 block of Blue Springs Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 4900 block of Old Dawson Road, the 1300 block of Nelms Road and the 400 block of Westover Boulevard;

— Suspicious person at the intersection of Folly Drive and Nelms Road, and the 600 block of Live Oak Circle;

— Abandoned auto on the 800 block of Cordele Road and the intersection of South Mock Road and Cutts Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven calls on Thursday. Calls included building fire, extrication of victim from vehicle, downed power line, odor removal and smoke scare.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 62 calls on Thursday. The incidents included 50 medical calls and 12 trauma calls.

The medical calls included six chest pains, five miscellaneous pains, four mental health issues, two faintings, two seizures, one altered mental status, one diabetic issue, one cardiac arrest and 16 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included 11 auto accident victims and one fall.
