THE ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 20 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue and the 1300 block of Colquitt Avenue;
— Shoplifting on the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Criminal trespass on the 1300 block of Colquitt Avenue, the 1100 block of Colquitt Avenue, the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue and the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue and the 800 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Battery on the 100 block of Merritt Street;
— Aggravated assault on the 500 block of Willard Avenue;
— Speeding on the 3000 block of Winterwood Avenue;
— Public indecency on the 1400 block of South Van Buren Street;
— Burglary on the 1200 block of Clark Avenue and the 300 block of Grant Place;
— Driving with no insurance on the 1100 block of Newton Road;
— Pedestrian soliciting rides or business on the 2600 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Failure to stop at stop sign on the 2200 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 2000 block of East Broad Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 6900 block of Newton Road;
— Suspicious person on the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Attempted burglary on the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Family violence on the 3400 block of Aristedes Road;
— Panhandling on the 600 block of Holly Drive;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Fraud on the 2100 block of Habersham Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included building fires, alarm system activations, grass fires, public service, unauthorized burning, a gas leak and arcing or shorted electrical equipment.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 63 various medical calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included five miscellaneous pain complaints, three respiratory issues, three chest pain complaints, two mental health calls, three seizures, two altered mental status issues, two strokes and 26 various medical calls.
Trauma calls included six auto accident victims, six falls, two lacerations and two fight/assault cases.
