Albany-Dougherty Police/Fire/EMS reports – Dec.18, 2014

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 26 incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Battery on the 1500 block of Oakridge Drive and the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1400 block of East Tift Avenue and the 600 block of 16th Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of West Society Avenue, the 500 block of North Washington Street, the 2200 block of North Boulevard, the 2200 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 2200 block of South Washington Street and the 1300 block of Avalon Avenue;

— Burglary on the 1400 block of Cromartie Beach Drive, the 300 block of West Mercer Avenue and the 2200 block of Clark Avenue;

— Theft of lost or mislaid property on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;

— Interference with a city officer on the 1200 block of Clark Avenue;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Theft by taking on the 1600 block of Schley Avenue and the 2300 block of Lake Park Drive;

— Entering auto on the 1600 block of Camp Lane;

— Printing, executing and negotiating checks on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Driving on suspended license on the 800 block of North Westover Road;

— Forgery on the 2100 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 1400 block of 7th Avenue;

— Aggravated assault on the 2200 block of South Jackson Street;

— Hit and run on the 100 block of East Road;

— Wanted person on the 300 block of Slater King Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 16 incidents on Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Traffic accident on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road, the 2800 block of Jefferson Street and the intersection of Branch Road and Sylvester Road;

— Suspicious vehicle on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road;

— Animal call on the 6100 block of Hardup Road;

— Harassing phone calls on the 2600 block of Oak View Street;

— Unwanted guest on the 1500 block of Cordele Road;

— Identity theft on the 4800 block of Leary Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 incidents on Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included: grass fire, assist to police, EMS call, motor vehicle accident, medical assist to EMS, leaking water heater, smoke detector activation, smoke removal and invalid assist.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 62 incidents on Tuesday, available reports show. Medical incidents included four respiratory issues, six miscellaneous pain calls, one altered mental status, one mental health call, one faint, four chest pain calls, one seizure and 31 various medical calls.

Trauma calls included four accident victims and four falls.
