ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 25 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Theft by shoplifting on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— DUI less safe on the 700 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Driving without a license on the 100 block of North Jackson Street;
— Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of West Residence Avenue, the 500 block of 15th Avenue and the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Criminal damage to property on the 100 block of North Washington Street;
— Battery on the 1100 block of West Lincoln Avenue;
— Harassing phone calls on the 2300 block of Bluewater Drive;
— Burglary on the 1000 block of Swift Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 2200 block of Jewell Street and the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive;
— Forgery on the 100 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Assault on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Theft by taking on the 2000 block of Pearl Avenue, the 700 block of Pine Avenue, the 2600 block of Gillionville Road and the 100 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggressive driving on the 300 block of Cordele Road;
— Public indecency on the 700 block of South Cleveland Street;
—Open container on the 2000 block of Stratford Drive.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 16 calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Animal running at large on the 6000 block of Newton Road, the 800 block of Holly Drive and at the intersection of Branch Road And Clark Avenue;
— Auto accident with injuries at the intersection of Oakhaven Drive and Newton Road;
— Theft by taking on the 2100 block of Denson Road;
— Suspicious person on the 4500 block of Sylvester Road;
— Auto accident on the 800 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Medical call on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Suspicious auto on the 2600 block of Radium Springs Road and the 5700 block of Newton Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 12 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included a gas leak, building fire, smoke detector activation, motor vehicle accident, cooking fire, fallen limb on roof, shorted electrical equipment, cat in tree,
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 79 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included four chest pain calls, 11 respiratory issues, one fainting, one altered mental status call, one fainting, three diabetic issues, two OB/labor calls, one stroke, two seizures, three mental health issues and 33 various medical calls.
Trauma calls included eight falls, six auto accident victims, one laceration, one assault and one burn issue.
