Albany-Dougherty Police/Fire/EMS reports – March 25-26, 2015

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 35 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Theft by taking on the 1900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 2000 block of East Broad Avenue and the 500 block of Swift Street;

— Unruly child on the 300 block of Grand Place;

— Rape on the 2200 block of Madison Street;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2800 block of Reeves Lane and the 900 block of Cherry Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 900 block of Madison Street, the 2200 block of Beachview Drive, the 400 block of West Broad Avenue, the 2400 block of Dawson Road, the 1100 block of Benjamin Drive, the 800 block of Van Deman Street, the 1400 block of Radium Springs Road and the 500 block of Swift Street;

— Wanted person on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue, the 200 block of Johnson Road, the 700 block of West Oakridge Drive and the 600 block of 11th Avenue;

— Battery on the 1400 block of West Highland Avenue, the 900 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive and the 2300 block of Palm Road;

— Driving on suspended license on the 1000 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 1400 block of East Society Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 2000 block of Beachview Drive;

— Burglary on the 1800 block of Lullwater Road and the 300 block of North Westover Road;

— Aggravated assault on the 1200 block of East Residence Avenue;

— Possession of marijuana on the 2200 block of Leonard Avenue;

— Theft by receiving on the 1700 block of Palmyra Road;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Unconfined/unleashed dog on the 1800 block of Green Valley Lane;

— Criminal damage to property on the 1800 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 600 block of North Westover Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 10 calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Suspicious person on the 4300 block of Radium Springs Road and the 1400 block of South Mock Road;

— Suspicious auto on the 3000 block of Spring Flats Road;

— Child custody call on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Traffic arrest on the 5700 block of Newton Road;

— Assist to motorist at the intersection of Clark Avenue and Cordele Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included assist to Albany police, downed power line, alarm system activation, unauthorized burning and a passenger vehicle fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 53 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included eight chest pain calls, four respiratory issues, three mental health calls, two diabetic issues, two faintings, two altered mental status calls and 25 various medical calls.

Trauma calls included four falls and two auto accident victims.

Other type calls included one assist for the Albany Fire Department.
