ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 16 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Those incidents included:

— Simple battery on the 1600 block of West Whitney Avenue, and the 900 block of Cherry Avenue.

— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road, and the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

— Recovered property on the 1900 block of North Monroe Street, and the 1000 block of 6th Avenue.

— Entering auto on the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue, and the 2200 block of Whispering Pines Road.

— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Thornwood Court, and the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road.

— Battery on the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle.

— Aggravated battery on the 500 block of 9th Avenue.

— Disorderly conduct on the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue.

— Missing person on the 2300 block of Dominion Court.

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 1000 block of Liberty Expressway.

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Those incidents included:

— Auto accident on the 2900 block of Jefferson Street, the 4000 block of Old Dawson Road, 1900 block of Weymouth Drive, the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Moultrie Road, the intersection of Thomas Road and County Line Road, and the 1700 Beattie Road.

— Personal welfare check on the 2600 block of Oakview Street, and the 1500 block of Canary Avenue.

— Suspicious person on the 4100 block of Fleming Road, and the 400 block of Redbud Road.

— Assist motorist on the 5700 block of Newton Road.

— Suspicious auto on the 5600 block of Sassafras Avenue.

— Animal at large on the 600 block of Holly Drive.

— Bank escort on the 700 block of Philema Road.

— Traffic lights out at the intersection of South Mock Road and Moultrie Road.

— Unwanted guest on the 1400 block of Lily Pond Road.

— Panhandling on the 4400 block of Acree Avenue.

— Entering auto on the 100 block of Lovers Lane Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least four calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Those incidents included:

— Unauthorized burning on the 500 block of Nector Court.

— Gas leak on the 1800 block of Pearce Avenue.

— Vehicle accident at the intersection of Thomas Road and South County Line Road.

— Cooking fire on the 2100 block of Gillionville Road.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 47 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Those incidents included six miscellaneous calls, five respiratory calls, three faint calls, three seizure calls, three chest pain calls, two diabetic issues, one mental health call, one altered mental status call, one stroke call and 21 various medical calls.

Trauma calls included 13 auto accident calls, eight fall calls, two assault calls and one laceration call.
