Why he’s here: Buford ran wild in Worth County’s 55-18 rout of Americus-Sumter Friday night. He finished with 212 yards rushing on 12 carries and scored three touchdowns.

EMORY MCKENZIE
Position: Quarterback
School/Year: Westover, Sr.
Why he’s here: McKenzie had another strong effort in leading Westover to a 25-0 victory over Dougherty. The senior finished with 137 yards of total offense and two touchdowns. He ran for a 14-yard score, then tossed a 16-yard touchdown pass to KJ Adams.

DEXTER MORMAN
Position: Quarterback/Wide receiver/cornerback
School/Year: Monroe, Jr.
Why he’s here: Morman was the main cog in the Tornadoes’ 16-14 thriller over Cairo Friday night. He drove Monroe down the field with 1:33 left to help set up the game-winning field goal. Morman finished the game with 243 yards passing on 19 of 26 and a touchdown to keep the Tornadoes in contention for the subregion crown.

Position: Tight End/Defensive Line
School/Year: Deerfield-Windsor, Jr.
Why he’s here: Shenker had a strong game in just two quarters in a 38-7 rout of Terrell Academy Friday night. The junior finished with 113 yards receiving on three catches with a touchdown. He also recorded three tackles while playing defense.
